Telescopic Boom Lift / Straight Mast Boom Lift

Telescopic boom lift also called the Straight Mast boom lift is an aerial work platform attached to a single extension arm. These lifts unlike any other lift, provide maximum horizontal and vertical reach plus greater stability at greater heights thus making them better suited for unfavorable atmospheric conditions. They are similar to a telescope, and designed without the hinge points found on an articulating boom. Their exceptional stability makes them the leader in undertaking jobs in extreme work height. Their vertical reach and extension capacity makes them your go-to choice for outdoor projects.

A major advantage the telescopic boom lift offers is the ability you have as an operator to operate it while you are on the platform unlike any other person lift or telescopic forklift that requires someone at the bottom to move the lift arm around.

Telescopic boom lifts are powered by diesel. They can also run on dual fuel. They are easy to use as they have one boom and can only move horizontally.

Articulating Boom Lift

The ability to maneuver is key while working within hard to reach places. An articulating boom, often referred to as “knuckle boom” or “cherry picker” is an ideal choice when you need to reach greater heights while maintaining precise positioning.

This lift offers a wider range of motion and versatility in both rough and smooth terrains. It also provides users with greater control and access around spaces where there is little to no access.

Due to their turning radius, the articulating boom lift can be used in both controlled and uncontrolled areas. Their forward, backward, up and down capabilities from the top provides you access when you need to reach across barriers and obstruction.

Articulating boom lifts are powered by diesel, gas, or electricity. They possess an extra jib which helps with more movement, height extension, and functionality. With the extra jib, you don’t have to worry about moving the arm of the boom whenever you need to switch or change positions. This makes them the perfect choice for getting around crowded places.
